Sun, May 16
Waterville Golf Links
Set on a narrow peninsula with the Atlantic on three sides, Waterville delivers a spectacular opening round: big coastal views, championship links golf, and a course refined by Tom Fazio. Payne Stewart, an honorary captain whose statue stands near the 18th green, is part of the history at one of Ireland’s most celebrated golf destinations.

Mon, May 17
Dooks Golf Club
Dooks might just be the round that steals the trip. Tucked beside Dingle Bay beneath the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks, this Kerry links has been testing golfers since 1889. Sandy fairways weave through gorse and wildflowers, while the breeze and contoured greens demand a little imagination. Keep the ball under the wind and remember to look up: the mountains and sea are half the reason we came. Then it’s back to Killarney to argue over who played the shot of the day.

Tralee Golf Club
Arnold Palmer’s first design in Ireland traces the rugged Barrow Peninsula, with a coastal front nine giving way to a dramatic inward stretch through towering dunes. Atlantic views, surrounding mountains, and the iconic 16th make Tralee one of the trip’s most spectacular—and demanding—links experiences.

Wed, May 19
Dingle Golf Links
Ceann Sibéal—roughly pronounced “kyown shih-BALE” and meaning Sybil Head—sits at the far edge of the Dingle Peninsula, Europe’s westernmost golf course and one of Ireland’s most remote. The links reveals hidden bays, fishing villages, mountains, and the Blasket Islands in the wild Atlantic—an unforgettable round in the heart of the West Kerry Gaeltacht, where Irish remains part of everyday life.

Round 5 of 6 · Finale I
Old Course
The entire trip has been building toward this. Ballybunion Old is the crown jewel—an exhilarating, wind-shaped journey through towering dunes and unforgettable holes along the Atlantic. The graveyard beside the opening fairway sets the tone, but the course keeps escalating toward the legendary 11th, a seaside par-4 Tom Watson once called the best in golf. This is the round that will define the trip.

Round 6 of 6 · Finale II
Cashen Course
The trip’s final 18 is no victory lap. Cashen explodes across dunes even more dramatic than those of the Old Course, its Robert Trent Jones routing surging from the Cashen River to the wild Atlantic and back through towering inland corridors. Fresh from a course-wide renovation by Team Niblick and Tom Watson Design, it now pairs heroic scenery with more strategic approaches, a revived ground game, and a stronger connection to the ocean. The rough diamond has been polished—and this is one ferocious final chapter.
